Fannings in Guys Directory of Munster 1893

In Thurles there was also Mrs Fanning in Quarry Street, the niece of my great great grandfather, William Patrick Fanning, who emigrated to Victoria in 1841.

In Two-Mile -Borris these Fanning farmers were listed:

Edmond Fanning of Coolcroo; Philip Fanning of Coldfields  and Thomas Fanning of Skehana.
